Day 1: New Delhi
Arrival at Delhi airport, transfer to hotel. Check-in at hotel. Relax at Hotel after a long flight. Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi.
Day 2: Jaipur
After breakfast, proceed for Jaipur “The fabled Pink city”. Check-in at hotel. Relax at the Hotel. Afternoon Sightseeing of Jaipur includes a visit to Jantar- Mantar (observatory), Hawa-Mahal (palace of wind) and City Palace. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.
Day 3: Jaipur
After breakfast, proceed for Amber Fort, situated just outside the city (8 kms). You can have the unique experience of traveling on elephant back to and from the top of the hill on which the fort is situated. Evening explore the local markets in Jaipur. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.
Day 4: Agra
After breakfast proceed for Agra. On arrival check-in at the hotel followed by city tour of Agra. Visit Taj Mahal - built by a grief-stricken emperor, Shah Jahan, as a memorial of eternal love for his beloved wife Mumtaz.
Visit Agra Fort which perhaps offers the most moving view of the Taj Mahal from its octagonal tower situated across the River Jamuna.
Visit Sikandra Emperor Akbars, tomb at Sikandra is a magnificent gateway, covered with floral and geometrical arabesque decoration in white and coloured marble. Four elegant Minarets surround the tomb. Overnight stay at hotel in Agra.
Day 5: Orchha
After Breakfast we leave for Orchha. Arrive Orchha and check in at hotel. Situated on the banks of the Betwa River, Orchha has changed little over the centuries. Originally a hunting area, it became the centre and capital of the Bundelas. Orchha has more temples and palaces than any town of this size deserves!
We spend our time here with a exploring the palace and temples scattered across the peaceful countryside, walking in rural areas untouched by modern life and meeting the very friendly local people. The river water is cold but clean enough to swim in. You will have free time afterwards to stroll the few streets or walk along the river. Overnight stay at hotel in Orchha.
Day 6: Khajuraho
After Breakfast proceed for Khajuraho.Check in at the hotel. Later we head through the rural areas of Madhya Pradesh to the remote town of Khajuraho.
Home to the beautifully preserved ancient and famous temples which are famous for their explicit carvings depicting the full range of the Eroticism (Kama Sutra). Overnight stay at hotel in Khajuraho.
Day 7: Varanasi
After breakfast depart for airport to catch your flight to Varanasi. Arrive Varanasi and transfer to hotel. Day at Leisure. Evening stroll the local markets of Varanasi. Overnight stay at hotel in Varanasi.
Day 8: Varanasi
Varanasi, formerly known as Banaras, is one of the most important religious cities in India. When you walk the crowded streets of the old city near the Ganges River, you will see holy men, holy cows, and holy temples all over the place.
Early in the morning at the time of sunrise we take you to banks of the river Ganges where we board a boat to see the morning ablutions of the Hindus from the security of our boat. The boat ride starts from Dasashwamedh Ghat and ends at Manikarnika Ghat along the sacred Ganges.See the Kashi Vishwanath temple and the Gyanvyapi kund and the mosque attached to it. Also visit the Benaras Hindu University the largest residential university in India with more than 3000 residential students. Return to your hotel for breakfast. Later visit Sarnath the sacred city for the Buddhist all over the world. It was here that Lord Buddha preached his first sermon to his first five disciples. Also worth visiting is the museum with artifacts dating back to 3rd century BC. Visit the nearby ruins of the ancient seat of learning in Sarnath. Overnight stay at hotel in Varanasi.
Day 9: Delhi
After breakfast we depart from Varanasi to board the flight back to New Delhi. Arrive in New Delhi and check in at the hotel. In evening take a walk at the city centre Connaught Place. Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi.
Day 10: New Delhi
After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of New and Old Delhi. Our itinerary takes off from Old Delhi, which is a multi-layered city. Our first stop is the Red Fort built by the great Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan when he shifted his capital from Agra. A short drive brings us to the Great Mosque - The Jama Masjid. Drive on to see the memorial built for Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat.
Afternoon Sightseeing tour of New Delhi includes a visit to the Qutub Minar - the tallest stone tower in India built in 1191 AD. Continue to Humayun's Tomb believed to have been designed by his widow. Its plan is based on the description of Islamic paradise gardens and is known to have inspired the Taj Mahal and many later Mughal tombs. Also visit the Bahai Temple - a lotus shaped structure. It is made of marble, cement, dolomite and sand. It is open to all faiths and is an ideal place for meditation and obtaining peace and tranquility. Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi
Day 11: New Delhi
Later you will transfer to the International airport to board the International flight back to your home/onward destination.
